Kendall Jenner- the highest paid model in the world- is getting sued for $1.8 Million due to allegedly failing to attend a second of two planed photo shoots, which Jenner was offered $1.5 million to do.
Italian fashion label Liu Jo claimed, in new court filing, Kendall Jenner is accused to failing to show up to the second half of Liu Jo's upcoming campaign photo shoot. Kendall Jenner was going to be paid $1.5 million for this campaign shoot and the vast majority of this fee was paid upfront after the first photo shoot.
The first shoot for the campaign happened in 2019 and the second half of the shoot was scheduled to happen march of 2020 but then was soon postponed due to COVID.
Liu Jo have calmed that Jenner's team had stopped cooperating and responding "to urgent requests and communications relating to the logistics." Jenner's management have completely denied the allegations that they've been accused of. Jenners Management company made a statement saying "Ms. Kendall Jenner, has continually offered Liu Jo alternative dates and locations to fulfil an agreement that was forced to be delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic." while Liu Jo have said that Jenner's team have turned down "all of Liu Jo's good-faith offers of compromise"
Out of the $1.5 million Jenner was supposed to be paid, she had already been paid $1.35 million plus 20 precent service fee that she was due for the two shoots.
Liu Jo have said that she Kendall Jenner alleged failure to honour her contract had "great expense" for the fashion label, who are now struggling to replace the super model for their campaign.
